DIRECTING

DIRECTING
As a director, I’m interested in creating work that is bold, truthful, collaborative and human with movement and ensemble practice at its heart.
My directing practice is rooted in the actor; creating an environment where performers feel safe enough to take risks, while challenged enough to make exciting choices. I’m particularly interested in ensemble, character, physical storytelling and work that asks audiences to see the world, and themselves, differently.
I bring the same principles from my teaching into the rehearsal room: curiosity, psychological safety, play, discipline and a genuine belief in the creative potential of the people I work with.
